Kyle & Hayley’s Intimate Farm Wedding at The Farm in Akron was such a pretty day! Emily our associate photographer captured every single detail of their wedding day and we are so glad they chose us to be part of their wedding. Below Hayley shared a little about their love story with us.

Kyle and I met through our mutual friend, Amber Davis. We went to a Mississippi State v. Alabama football game. We had been officially dating for 5 years on February 11, 2019. Kyle is older than me so I was still in college when we starting dating. When we first got together we just clicked. I knew there was something about him that gave me that feeling that he was my forever. One of the things we have done since we have been together is travel. We have been all over the South, Colorado, California, Utah, Puebla Mexico (he was stuck working there for about 7 months straight), Cabo San Lucas, and the list goes on. There’s no other person I would rather take on life with.

Our proposal all started while we were on vacation in Park City, Utah with our friends Amber and Michael. We spent the day skiing/snowboarding and came back to the hotel that afternoon to prepare for our dinner at The Viking Yurt for Valentines day. We started off the night by being pulled behind a snowcat in a sleigh up the mountain side to get to the restaurant. We were completely covered in snow by the time we made it to the top (9,000 ft up). The weather almost made it impossible to see due to the amount of snow and wind. I ran towards the restaurant as fast as I could when we got off the sleigh to get inside to warm up. Amber came in behind me and stated we should all go outside to get pictures before the dinner began (I was thinking to myself, NO WAY!). Reluctantly, I went outside and as a I was standing beside the Yurt trying to get my jacket zipped (ha!) Kyle grabbed me by the waist and got down on one knee. I was in complete shock and could barely wrap my head around what was happening. It was truly one of the best days of my life.
